Who we share your data with
The data you share with us via our threshold questionnaires, datasheet questionnaires and custom datasheet is collected for the sole purpose of assisting with the completion and submission of your facility’s 93 toxic emissions report to the National Pollutant Inventory, operating under the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment.
Tracking pollution through the NPI is essential to enhance environmental quality; increase public and industry understanding of the types and quantities of toxic substances emitted into the environment and transferred off-site as waste; encourage industry to use cleaner production techniques to reduce emissions and waste generation; track environmental progress; meet community right-to-know obligations; and assist the government in identifying priorities for environmental decision-making.
